About Death From Above 1979: Formed in Toronto in 2001, Death From Above 1979 have become one of Canada’s most influential rock acts, redefining what a two-piece band can sound like. Comprised of drummer/vocalist Sebastien Grainger and bassist Jesse F. Keeler, the duo broke through with their landmark debut You’re a Woman, I’m a Machinebefore releasing acclaimed albums including The Physical World, Outrage! Is Now, and Is 4 Lovers.
